Hoffman Development Corporation Construction Crew in Albany, New York

Description

Construction Crew

Hoffman Development Corporation is seeking a full-time construction crew member. This position would help to build new locations and renovate our current locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Building construction including building of framework, walls, floors, roofs and siding; building services including basic carpentry, drywall, painting, basic electrical, plumbing

  • Forming, placing and finishing concrete slabs

  • Installation of commercial doors and hardware

  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws

  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required

  • Work on projects as assigned by the Construction Manager

Requirements:

  • 2 years of construction or carpentry experience

  • Experience using construction equipment including power tools, backhoe, skid steer loader, forklift, and scissor lift.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL license a plus

  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

  • Able to bend, kneel, crawl, walk, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders without assistance.

  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
