Lead IT Business Analyst

Tasks the role will be performing:

? Using business analysis methods to elicit requirements from DHCR users for the new application? Guiding requirements sessions with DHCR and ITS staff? Documenting requirements for the new application using defined ITS standards and templates.? Developing, analyzing and revising system diagrams (flowcharts, strategy maps, etc.) as needed? Communicating business and process requirements to DHCR staff, ITS staff and project leadership? Verify and validate requirements and deliverables at each phase of analysis and testing? Tracking /documenting changes to functional and business specifications? Participating in the development of test plans and overseeing system changes to ensure DHCR requirements are met

Requirements for the position:

  • 84 months of experience working on IT projects, as lead business analyst, that involved use of business analysis strategies to gather and document new system requirements

  • 84 months of experience working as lead business analyst on projects on which the candidate used recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documentation of business process requirements, business process modeling, As-is and To-be workflow development and gap analysis, etc.) to define and analyze current processes in order to remodel/design the new processes

  • 84 months of experience in internal and external stakeholder communication and outreach, including development of presentations and other materials that promote the rethinking of core business processes and envisioning of a reengineered environment

  • 48 months of experience facilitating and documenting business requirements on projects with three or more client teams of subject matter experts

  • 24 months experience with the developing test plans for the project and with overseeing system changes or enhancements to ensure user and program requirements are met
