Oracle Marketing Communications Snr Manager - Digital in Albany, New York

Responsible for the overall development of technical and editorial content and message portrayed across Oracle's digital channels in execution of the company's digital strategy

Management of Web Content specialists to collaborate with line-of-business to support the development, implementation, functionality and maintenance of company digital efforts. Act as a liaison with management to ensure that production of online and digital content is in support of business strategy. Direct functional resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate mix for the line-of-business or geography. Focus on best practice and continuous improvement in all business and management activities. Ensure consistency between global directions and line-of-business and geography implementation choices. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.

As the Sr. Website Content & UX Manager, you will be responsible for bringing to life the roadmap for our digital experiences. In doing so you will drive improvement in our performance, brand identity and consistency, and conversion. The ideal candidate will have experience with both UI and UX and demonstrated the ability to be a leader and individual contributor on large digital design projects across a team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure solid digital brand storytelling through NetSuite's website.

  • Conduct user research and analysis to better understand our users and their challenges.

  • Apply learnings from user research to inform digital design practice.

  • Understand NetSuite's business model, creating a set of objectives and an evolving project plan to meet the department goals.

  • Lead research and requirements definition among a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong problem solving and/or analytical skills are a must

Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Clear, demonstrable excitement about working in the online marketing sector

A natural, consultative style is essential to build client relationships

Strong communication skills

An appreciation of web technologies is ideal, particularly HTML, CSS and JavaScript to work alongside developers and tech teams.

Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
