Unit Description

Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a General Manager 5 in the greater New York City area . We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals, with previous experience managing high volume dining venues with 10 million or more managed volume.

The ideal General Manager 5 would encompass the following skillset

  • Strong P&L/ financial acumen;

  • sustainable dining, and understanding of culinary trends;

  • places a strong emphasis on client retention, satisfaction, and guest fulfillment;

  • team development experience proud team of professionals;

  • experience managing multi-services or multiple locations simultaneously;

  • detail-oriented, highly organized, and

  • consistently demonstrates a passion for hospitality and improving the lives of those around them.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Key Duties:

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
