Southern Tier AIDS Program Re-Entry Peer Navigator in Binghamton, New York

Re-Entry Peer Navigator - The Southern Tier AIDS Program is seeking a part-time (18 hours per week) Re-entry Peer Navigator located in Binghamton. This position provides confidential outreach, intake, and care management services to re-entry participants, assists with the general operations of the Re-entry program and provides program clerical and data management support.

Qualifications -
Bachelor's degree in Health, Education, Social Work, Liberal Arts, a related field, and one years of qualifying experience; or an Associate's degree in Health, Education, Social Work, Liberal Arts, a related field, and two years of qualifying experience. Experience with formerly incarcerated and their families preferred. Qualifying experience means verifiable full or part-time employment experience working with any of the following populations: persons with a history of mental illness, homelessness, and/or substance use, involvement with the criminal justice system. The person filling this position must have lived experience of incarceration.

Salary/Work hours -
$13.25 per hour working 18 hours per week.
