Description:

  • Entry-level position in the packaging department. Packing Operator is responsible for safely operating the package equipment to package in-process products in accordance with Packaging Order, while following SOPs and Maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance during operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Checks and verifies bulk and packaging components before the entry of the packaging room.

  • Records and maintains the log book after each batch.

  • Checks calibration status of all scales, balance and equipment.

  • Responsible for disposal of rejected tablets and packaging components in the designated area.

  • Uses proper safety and protective gear and follows dress code.

Additional Responsibilities:

Education:

  • High School or GED or 5 years in Pharmaceuticals manufacturing - Required

Experience:

Skills:

  • Required to read, write, and communicate in English. - Intermediate

  • High school level math and mechanical skills. - Intermediate

  • Flexible to work extended hours when required. - Intermediate

  • Ability to work as part of a team. - Intermediate

  • Attention to detail and accuracy. - Intermediate
