Dealmed Medical Supplies EMS Sales Representative in Brooklyn, New York
Contacting potential EMS customers (ambulance and pre-hospital agencies) on the phone and in person.
The job will be approximately 75% in the office and 25% of the time on the road
Account management of “house accounts” assigned to you.
Attending regional trade shows approximately 4-5 times per year.
Expectation is to expand the company’s EMS business and be compensated for it.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting sales on the phone and in person with both warm and cold leads
Cold calling and emailing approximately 10 -30 accounts on a daily basis.
Approximately once per week candidate will be on the road to visit with customers, prospects, and leads. This includes cold calling prospect.
Promoting our product line including emphasis on the Dealmed Brand and EMS drugs.
Monitoring customer’s sales activity and reaching out to ensure business is being maintained and not lost to competition
Recommending changes in products, service, and policy.
Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and making recommendations to management.
Researching product detail and specs for customers by working with vendors, reviewing tech sheets, and performing online searches.
Learning and maintaining professional and technical knowledge of the latest medical products and technologies including industry trends.
Must have sales experience and preferably medical experience.
Candidate must have experience working with or for a distributor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to respond quickly and professionally through all channels with customers and prospects.
Excellent computer skills. Excellent skills at Microsoft office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Be able to put together custom quotes using Word, PDF’s, and other software.
The ability and confidence to work with high-profile customers
EMT/Paramedic experience is a plus.
