Etsy Senior Product Manager, Buyer Experiences in Brooklyn, New York

As a Product Manager supporting our buyers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to ensure that our customers have the right information throughout their shopping journey to feel confident making purchase decisions. In this role you will solve complex consumer-facing problems, develop strategies and roadmaps, work with cross-functional partners, and execute plans to build sustained value for our business and our customers.

Groups focused on the buyer experience are responsible for creating experiences across our website that help over 45 million customers make confident purchasing decisions. With over 66 million items offered by 2.7 million sellers, the group brings value to our buyers, sellers, and Etsy by balancing data, user interviews, experimentation and iteration with e-commerce best practices to solve exciting challenges posed by operating at scale.

About the role:

  • You’ll develop and own a product strategy that is clearly articulated, easily understood, and delivers meaningful value to our customers and business.

  • You will be responsible for developing the roadmap and prioritizing product features, through continuous iteration and experimentation.

  • You’ll lead a cross-functional team in crafting value for Etsy’s buyers and sellers.

  • Through rigorous user research and analysis, you’ll explore, ideate, validate, and build products that are strategically aligned with our business goals.

  • You will work closely and with top-notch designers, user research experts, data analysts, engineers and data scientists to create immersive and business driving experiences.

  • Own accountability for the performance of key products, like the Etsy Homepage, including impact to the business and our customers

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience

  • Excited and passionate about solving consumer-facing problems, developing strategies and roadmaps, and executing those plans to bring value to our business and customers.

  • Experienced with using qualitative and quantitative data (especially from A/B tests) to make product decisions. You also know when and how to balance data with intuition.

  • Inspiring, engaging and clear communication style; optimistic and forward-looking

  • Natural collaborator who knows how to drive decision-making with Engineering, Product Design, Analytics, and Research partners.

  • Experience working in a marketplace or with third-party partnerships as a plus
