Associate Director of Enrollment Operations

Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Enrollment Operations provides development and support for the application cycle and CRM portal maintenance, and database administrator duties within Slate for the Office of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions. This position assists in managing user permissions, data integrity, and error resolution for data pertaining to prospective, applicant, and admitted students; monitors daily data imports and application platform changes; updates rule-based automation; monitors counselor and applicant portals; creates reports, and creates documentation of business practices. Position requires occasional evening and weekend work.

Essential Job Duties

There are four areas of responsibility associated with this position:

  • Management of the day-to-day processes and functions associated with Canisius’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, Slate.

  • Ensuring data integrity throughout systems and reports. Including assisting in bridging data between our internal systems and report creation with custom SQL.

  • Collaborating with both Canisius enrollment teams and additional departments to improve operations and create a positive experience for future students and CRM users.

  • Conduct training to internal and external users.

These three areas of responsibility include these essential job duties:

  • Experience with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems. (Technolutions Slate experience is preferred)

  • Familiarity with data structures, analytical tools, and interpretation

  • Ability to think creatively and analytically

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently

  • Ability to work both independently, with little direct supervision and collaboratively, as a member of a team

  • A customer-friendly and positive attitude, especially while working under pressure

  • Ability to cultivate and manage key relationships

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Special Skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office. (required)

  • Familiarity with HTML, Liquid Markup, Deliver Campaigns, and SQL (preferred, but not required)

  • Knowledge of third-party application platforms (e.g. Common App, Liason Application Platform) (preferred, but not required)

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in a Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience

Minimum Work Experience

  • Relevant technology experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of systems, data analysis and/or higher education admissions operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of admissions operations, cycle, policies, and support activities, CRM experience

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time position. Benefits are available the first of the month after the full-time employee’s date of hire and include – health, dental and vision insurance, life and long term disability insurance, and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees with contribution from College after one year. Paid holidays, vacation, personal leave and sick leave. Tuition benefits are also available for full-time employees and their qualified dependents.
