Description of Duties

Assists in determining the policy, strategy and future for the inventory management, receiving and warehousing functions within Roswell Park; determine the use of appropriate technology, processes and people within these functions, assuring that all are used effectively and efficiently to maintain the appropriate supplies on hand; plans, organizes and manages department functions and activities related to supply services including distribution, inventory control, receiving and mail room services; implements lean processes and cost savings initiatives; establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations; defines standards of performance and productivity; delivers exceptional customer service; monitors departmental activities and initiates changes to improve efficiencies, effectiveness and services.

Qualifications

The applicant must have a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters Degree in related field and the equivalent of two years of experience in a directly related field including year of full time in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field and the equivalent of four years of experience in a directly related field including two years of full time in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity or an Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field and the equivalent of six years of experience in a directly related field including two years of full time in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity or a High School Diploma or GED and the equivalent of eight years of experience in a directly related field including two years of full time in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity. The preferred candidate will have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters Degree in Related Field and advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access Skills.
