Aspen Dental Customer Service Support Supervisor in East Syracuse, New York

As reflection or our continued growth we have an opportunity to join our team as a Patient Support Supervisor.

  • Assists in developing policies & procedures, training and development of staff, and departmental deliverable timelines

  • Directs the daily workload in assigned areas amongst team members

  • Assists in developing performance benchmarks for team members

  • Monitors productivity and results against benchmark data

  • Assists team members with problem research and resolution

  • Collaborates with other Supervisors/Managers

  • Assists patients in a prompt and courteous manner and resolution of issues and questions

  • Responds to all patient’s billing inquiries left via voicemail or email within a timely manner

  • Updates patient account information as needed for resolution of inquiry

  • Submits patient grievances to appropriate facilities as requested by patient for resolution

  • Responsible for general billing support functions to ensure efficient utilization of time

  • Create & submit reports for text and IVR vendor daily

  • High school diploma is Required, college Degree is preferred

  • Minimum of 2 year(s) of customer service management experience required, preferably in healthcare and/or call center environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable use of MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
