Contractors' Line + Grade Surveyors LLC Instrument Man in Elmsford, New York


Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed;
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and blueprints;
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites;
Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain;
Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys; Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements; Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects; and Adjust surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy; Establish fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field is required. In addition, at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related position such as Project Manager or any role with similar job duties. Full term of experience must include analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, and blueprints. Must have 30 Hour OSHA. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training will be accepted.
