Production Control - Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, orders, concerns and requests about products.
Work with Production Manager to be sure all Jobs are scheduled & customers deliveries are done on time. Good Phone Skills & Typing Skills.
Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Handle and resolve customer complaints as required by CFM Quality Systems.
Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints.
Process orders, forms, applications and requests.
Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
Manage customers' accounts in the MRP system.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
Record details of actions taken.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
Control and maintain overrun inventory.
Update and maintain CSR records including Customer Requirements spreadsheet.
File job documentation including setup sheets and inspection reports.
Initiate customer request for quotes and maintain quote log.
Follow up on customer quotes to determine status and provide feedback to the Sales organization.
Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new sales accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software.
Operates and maintains MRP system.
Operates and maintains Sales database.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Present a professional image at all times to customers.
2-5 years or equivalent education/training.
