Enzo Biochem Inc. Clinical Support Specialist in Farmingdale, New York

Responsible for providing timely technical support to Enzo clients throughout the clinical testing process. Support is in the form of phone support, on-site visits, and technical presentations among other things. The individual will be expected to work cross-functionally between many departments including sales, marketing, client operations and production serving both patient and client needs.

  • Provide information to healthcare providers in an effort to increase access to genetic and personalized medicine test for patients

  • Support Sales team in the field with implementation and follow up of new business

  • Optimize internal and external workflow and increase customer satisfaction

  • Serve as an educational resource for the Sales team

  • Develop and implement clinical and scientific presentations, case studies, and best practices to healthcare practitioners and community groups on various topics as needed

  • Research data to determine how it can be utilized with customers

  • Provide information to healthcare providers as needed

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to patients and physicians

  • Work with Sales from the office and in the field to support various clients

  • Technical presentations and conference participation

  • Assist in answering high volume phone and email inquires

  • Provide first level technical support to clients

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, clinical staff, and billing to provide educational materials to patient and clients

  • Work with marketing to determine products and services needed to compete within the clinical market

  • Identify issues and contribute to process improvements creating an efficient working environment while maintaining high service levels

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure we are providing the best service and experience to all customers

  • Master’s degree or PhD in biological sciences or other clinical genetics related degree

  • Solid understanding of clinical testing technologies

  • Experience working with diagnostic or biotechnology industry

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Position is based in NY area with minimal 25% local field travel (NY, NJ, CT)
