Citigroup Digital Content Associate in Getzville, New York

Citi Research & Global Insights (CRGI) conducts independent research and analysis of markets, economies, sectors, and corporations in every region of the world, in addition to providing leading-edge content and consulting services to clients across multiple industries. CRGI seeks an experienced professional to curate content for multiple audiences on Citi Velocity, Citi's flagship portal for institutional clients, for public audiences on our Citi GPS thought leadership website, and support the ongoing transformation of the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) to a content-led business. Qualifications: Bachelor degree with coursework in English, journalism, finance, economics, marketing, or equivalent work experience Keen interest in evolving digital trends and innovation Experience in creating content for financial markets Responsibilities Author short descriptions, synopses, and/or executive summaries of highly specialized publications for a general audience Repackage and/or repurpose published content based on trending themes Shape and distill messages so that they are engaging, broadly consumable, and easily understandable Curate the best content for discovery on Citi Velocity web and mobile, and other channels Help define and optimize a strategy for alerting clients to new content Collaborate with the Product Management team to maintain visibility on the pipeline of key thematic publications Work with content creators to help them draft the most attractive content for our clients Development Opportunity You will have exposure to senior managers in multiple business units across the ICG You will gain experience in tailoring and packaging content for Citi's institutional clientele Role will be as an individual contributor initially but has potential for managing others as ICG content grows in scope and scale Skills: Advanced MS Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of HTML a plus Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus Ability to summarize quickly and effectively Financial services knowledge Ability to work independently Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the firm Ability to balance big picture and details Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, with solid project management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities Skilled storyteller Keen commercial instincts, ability to identify content that "hooks" the client and clearly articulate important information ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Research ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Research Product ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
