Citigroup Interactive Front-end Visual Design Associate in Getzville, New York

CRGI seeks an experienced interactive front-end visual designer to translate our thought leaders' highly specialized content into interactive web pages and infographics for consumption by a general audience on web, mobile, and other platforms, supporting the ongoing transformation of the Institutional Clients Group (ICG)  to a content-led business. Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience in web and interactive infographic design for financial or general media, corporates, agencies, and/or other major entities for consumption by general audiences Degree or certificate in web design, graphic design, data visualization, or front-end web development Strong portfolio of interactive web page and/or interactive infographics projects Experience in financial services publishing preferred Responsibilities Create compelling, interactive infographics for web, mobile, and other channels Implement responsive design principles to ensure that assets render well across all platforms and channels Participate in every stage in the creative process, including conceptualization, storyboarding, and editing Collaborate with writers, motion graphic artists, and other content professionals to best support business goals Adhere to brand and style guidelines while pushing creative boundaries Maintain tidy project files with organized assets, dependencies ,and layers Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to stay on the leading edge of interactive web and infographic design Development Opportunity You will build a portfolio of thought leadership content for a top-tier bank, distributed to a wide range of clientele as well as the general public You will have a direct impact on the transformation of the ICG into a content-led business You will have exposure to senior managers in multiple business units across the ICG Skills: Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks) Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design Experience using After Effects or other motion graphic software a plus Highly organized, with solid project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate MS Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to translate complex, highly specialized content into engaging interactive infographics for a general audience Ability to work independently but in a "team first" culture Financial services knowledge a plus Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the firm Ability to balance big picture and details Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities Ability to digest and incorporate feedback from internal clients and team members Keen commercial instincts, ability to identify content that "hooks" the client ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Research ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Research Product ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
