UnitedHealth Group Wellness Coordinator - Telecommute in New York City, NY in Latham, New York

Wellness Coordinators perform routine work queue updates and analysis per assigned case load.

If you are located in New York City, NY, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound high call volume from members and providers

  • Assist members with identifying and applying for appropriate housing opportunities in their community

  • Update and manage member and provider communications via case management tool

  • Retrieve and document all incoming voicemails

  • Track daily client and member contacts via internal system and tools

  • Use existing procedures and guidelines to solve and analyze routine problems as required for each case

You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree (or higher)

  • 3+ years of phone-based customer service experience

  • 2+ years of experience navigating and using Windows PCwith the ability open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry

  • 2+ years of experience creating, copying, editing,sending & saving in Word, Excel & Outlook

  • 2+ years of experience working within the behavioralhealth field

  • 1 + year of experience with local housing programs andresources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Managed Care

  • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid patienthistory

  • Familiar with explaining Behavioral Health benefits

  • Experience in a call center

  • Experience with problem solving and analyzing
