Canon USA & Affiliates eCommerce Marketing Specialist in Melville, New York
Bring your eCommerce marketing expertise to Canon! As an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist you will support the overall Channel Strategy and Customer Experience related to Canon’s Direct eCommerce Site.
This position will be driven by creativity and informed decision making through analytics and will ultimately fuel a very agile marketing environment. This role will be responsible for driving full funnel customer engagement through Affiliate, Search and Social marketing activities as well as input and direction toward the on-site customer experience.
Manage and maintain day-to-day needs as well as a bigger picture strategy to help support the overall growth of the Affiliate Marketing channel. Develop a deep understanding of how to drive powerful performance across a variety of core publishers.
Provide support to Search and Social efforts managed by the Performance Marketing teams.
Work closely and collaborate with Business Planning, Strategy and Brand Marketing Teams to align with business targets and product focus across all marketing channels.
Support the Canon Direct customer experience by optimizing user flow, education and content through analytics and strong collaborative efforts with the Content, Development and UI/UX Teams.
Help grow and sustain the Canon Employee Purchase Program, our store front for internal employees and external partner’s employees. Manage strategy, relationships, contracts and marketing efforts with our aggregators.
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field plus min. 3 years of related experience in digital marketing.
Experience in performance driven marketing tactics and strategies in addition to having experience in digital marketing channels and tactics inclusive of SEM/SEO, Affiliate Social Media, etc.
Advanced MS Excel preferred
Analytical skills are required with ability to enable data-driven decisions in an agile fashion
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, display comfort working in cross functional settings both as a leader and a player, have an ability to think outside of the box and find creative and unorthodox solutions that can differentiate our brand.
Excellent communication skills, supporting the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
