Job Description

A large client of ours in Monroe is seeking an Entry Level Cash Management Associate to join their growing department. The Cash Management Associate will be monitoring bank balances, assisting with data entry and other administration support. Banking and back of office experience is a big plus.

Job duties include:

  • Manage correspondence and telephones, performed filing, data entry, bookkeeping, billing, and invoicing

  • Research, reconcile, verify and resolve deposit/payment discrepancies and statement and general issues

  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and financial ledgers in Excel

  • Understand and assess cash movements from customers to client

  • Assist in the month-end closing and financial reporting process including journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations

This is a full-time opportunity with hours 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. This company offers a lot of room for growth and frequently promotes from within. Pay rate for the position is $13-$15 per hour.

Job Requirements

Cash Management Associate Requirements:

  • 1+ year of administrative or office-related experience

  • Basic understanding of cash flow, accounting, bookkeeping and account reconciliation

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Professional written and oral communication skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; An Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
