Job Description

Our client, a well-respected, global manufacturing company in the Monroe, NY area is seeking a Production Supervisor with experience in industrial manufacturing settings. The appropriate Production Supervisor will have a track record in supervising, managing, and leading production teams in an industrial manufacturing setting and ensuring production, quality, and delivery standards are met.

Production Supervisor Job Functions:

  • Apply industrial engineering problem solving and productivity techniques to drive efficiency

  • Direct personnel actions in training, performance appraisal, discipline, coaching, development, and safety issues

  • Supervise production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements

  • Motivate, coach, and mentor team

  • Provide support to operators to meet productivity goals

  • Ensure all staff follows safety procedures

Job Requirements

Production Supervisor Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • College diploma in business or engineering preferred

  • Proven track record of individual accomplishment, contribution and team-based success

  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and listen at all levels

  • Strong knowledge of Material Management

  • Strong understanding of production methods
