What we do: *
The Technology Group of The Federal Reserve Bank of NY is seeking a Junior Java Developer professional to work on planning and development of Fedwire applications.
Applications include Securities, Funds, NSS and Settlement front-end business lines as well as a range of backend applications supporting critical business functions
Your role as the Sr. Delivery Analyst:
This is a hands-on entry level position requiring java skills.
As a member of the Application Development staff, the candidate would participate in the development and implementation of internal and mission critical external distributed applications. The position is for a Junior Application Developer who has knowledge of java and related technologies. The candidate will be involved in the full project life cycle (elaboration of requirements, development, deployment and maintenance).
What we are looking for: *
- Good knowledge and expertise in Java enterprise technology
- Familiarity with Spring Frameworks (Core, MVC, Security, Batch, etc.)
- Database skills (Oracle preferred)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Education:
Bachelors/Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. / This position requires access to confidential information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law.
