This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. You will join BA colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

Data & Analytics Innovation (D&AI) team, within StratCO Business Analytics, is responsible for enabling analytics capabilities ranging from sourcing & ingesting the right data into ecosystem to offering tools & technology solutions for the analytics community to leverage the data and rapidly generate insights for the business.

In this role, we are looking for frontrunners in the field of Data & Platform engineering to facilitate cutting-edge analytics capabilities for early incubation and large scale adoption.

You will have the ability to work with a talented group of analytics innovators, data scientists and technologists and scale capabilities for broader utilization. Our internal environment is dynamic, our analytics workloads are complex and datasets are very interesting and challenges are extremely stimulating.


  • Strategize and establish Data & Analytics platform vision.

  • Spearhead idea incubation alongside innovation & data science teams and scale proven platform capabilities for all BA constituents.

  • Provide thought leadership and bring forth alignment across stakeholders from different functional groups.

  • Develop blueprints for large scale adoption through close collaboration with senior StratCO leadership members.

  • Lead advisory board sessions for major initiatives and help BA constituents drive maximum platform benefits.

  • Conceptualize and implement big data infrastructure required to support the needs of predictive modeling and analytics

  • Mentor other team members in a technical environment.

  • Put together business cases for new investment proposals, obtain sponsorship and guide implementations.

  • Work closely with vendor partners and guide their product development lifecycle.

  • Leverage big data technologies and cutting edge innovations in solving business critical problems.

  • Conduct proof of concepts with new/innovative tools for analytics.

  • Define and document standards and best practices for analysts and help accelerate their work through collaboration.

  • Drive implementation by working in close partnership with Business Technology and vendor partners.

  • Lead continuous improvements on the analytics platform and drive adoption among BA constituents.

  • Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting engineering issues that affect platform availability and analytics productivity.

  • Conduct sessions to develop awareness of new capabilities among Analysts.

  • Engage in cross departmental analytics sessions and provide thought leadership for advancing collaboration.

  • Help Business Technology members manage vendor partner resources in implementing and managing engineering standards.

  • Design automated testing and continuous delivery practices, seek consensus among stakeholder groups for implementation.

Professional Experience and Educational Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on coding experience in designing data & analytics solutions

  • Deep understanding of compute & data storage in the cloud infrastructure and analytics tools

  • Computer Science, Mathematics or Information Systems degree (major or minor) a big plus

  • Strong skills in data processing and visualization technologies with robust coding background

  • Interest to learn and pioneer analytics adoption in life sciences space

  • Understanding of DevOps practices
