We are looking for a Product Management leader to be part of the VMware Cloud on AWS team. The VMware Cloud on AWS Product Management team leads the vision, business priorities, and product roadmap for VMware’s flagship enterprise hybrid cloud offering delivered as-a-service. We work closely with Customers, Partners, Engineering, SRE, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams – to create meaningful value for our users and help them achieve their digital transformation goals. As the Product Manager, Service Operations, you will be responsible for defining and building the vision, product strategy and product roadmap necessary to ensure that the entire service organization and systems are synchronized with the deployment of new software, features and technology and that these are rolled out successfully across our global infrastructure and to all of our customers.
The role requires a background in Product Management, Cloud Operations at scale, and SRE tools. It also requires an ability to work effectively with Engineering, SRE, Customer Success, directly with customers and many other functions within VMware and AWS.

Ability to define a vision, set of core values, and metrics for the service offering
Background in SaaS Operations, Datacenter Operations, SRE and a DevOps culture
Drive a culture of Service Ownership across product and service teams
Deep understanding of monitoring, logging, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, operations at scale & performance management
Ability to set hard priorities to ensure VMWare meets the needs of our customers while ensuring that our service operates with a high level of trust
Engineering, computer science or other technical degree; MBA a plus
Proven product management experience (5-10 years) in SaaS or Cloud Management
Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Native Applications is highly desired
Demonstrated ability to work successfully across business units and with high-level executives
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to drive alignment across company, and with customers and partners
