Position Description

What does a great Strategic Financial Consultant do?

The Strategic Financial Leadership Program is an intensive finance-focused rotational leadership development opportunity sponsored by Fiserv executive management. The program is designed to provide top talent from leading MBA programs with professional development and growth opportunities that enable program participants to assume financial leadership roles upon program completion. The program foundation consists of a combination of diverse rotational assignments, targeted training including Six Sigma Certification, and continual coaching and development. The ultimate objective is to develop and groom strong financial leaders who make meaningful contributions to Fiserv throughout their careers.

Example Rotations & Responsibilities include:

  • Pricing

  • Core migration strategy analysis & transactional deal support

  • Opportunity to own key pricing initiatives and drive projects from inception to pilot

  • EPS (BU) FP&A

  • Forecasting & financial analysis to support quarterly financial reviews, month end close process & Investor Relations requests for a business with over $500M in OI

  • Prepare and present Annual Operating Plans partnering with cross-functional leaders to meet CFO driven goals

  • Business Intelligence & Strategic projects

  • Corporate Shared Services

  • Gain exposure to our Real Estate, IT, Legal, Sourcing and finance executive audiences in the day to day execution of tasks

  • Ensure risk is managed and transferred appropriately through the renewal of our insurance program and review of vendor/client contracts for over $15M in annual program expense

  • Track post-merger synergies and align allocation strategies to manage over $900M in annual corporate functions expense

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics & or

Engineering

Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint and have a technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly

Minimum GPA of 3.5 or above preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership ability
