Kforce Administrative Assistant in New York, New York

Kforce has a client in search of an Administrative Assistant in New York, NY.Essential Functions:

  • Professionally answer and screen phone calls for Department and respond to or filter calls, as able, regarding requests, questions, appointments, etc. while maintaining confidentiality

  • Assist the Department in scheduling appointments, preparing materials for meetings

  • Prepare and set- up materials for department trainings and/or workshops and conduct the break down activities at the end of the session

  • Produce documents and materials for sessions as needed (workbooks, handouts, activity materials/props)

  • Assist with the completion of monthly metrics for the Department

  • Prepare files/folders for the department and assist with filing when necessary

  • Preparing documents and projects using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Conduct basic Learning Management System (LMS) functions - Assigning e-learning courses, assisting users, etc.

  • Must meet expected professional performance standards including attendance and punctuality

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

  • Strong service excellence, administrative and organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - oral, written, and listening

  • Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, co-workers, Fund management, and the public

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible

  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, multi-task, make sound judgments, manage time effectively and prioritize work assignment

  • Work within and maintain the confidentiality required of the organization and the ODTL department

  • Maintain Funds' performance standards including attendance and punctuality
