Position Overview

The Role:

The Chase Communications team provides executive communications, media relations, internal communications, crisis communications and social media strategy across Chase to help the business achieve its strategic goals. Our team of highly talented and experienced professionals support Chase’s businesses in Home Lending, Consumer Banking, Card Services, Merchant Services, Auto Financing, and Business Banking.

As one of the most-followed financial brands, Chase communicates with millions of social media users across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter. Our social media team continues to grow and we’re seeking a Social Media Associate to join our team in New York.

As a Chase Social Media Associate you will:

  • Provide recommendations on creative strategies and advertising placements to acquire new customers and drive business results on social media

  • Support the Chase marketing teams in building social media strategies to acquire new customers at scale and below CPA goals

  • Advise internal Chase partners on social media best practices related to creative, media buying, and emerging ad products

  • Manage social marketing campaigns from brief through launch, clearly communicating timelines, status and results

  • Manage multiple agency partners in the development and execution of paid media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter

  • Copy-write and copy-edit for social media campaigns

  • Monitor social channels for consumer insights and reputational risk

  • Pull social listening insights, build campaign reports, and present findings to senior leadership

  • Support team members on various projects and campaigns, effectively communicating timelines, status and results

  • Support the Head of Social Media in project management and operations

Ideal candidates should have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in social media and / or digital marketing

  • Experience in buying or managing social media marketing campaigns a plus

  • Proven record of managing advertising campaigns on social channels

  • Experience managing external agencies (creative and / or digital media)

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as social media analytics (e.g., understanding measurement, benchmarks, campaign reporting)

  • Proficiency in native social analytics dashboards (i.e., Twitter Analytics). Experience with Adobe Insights, Sprinklr, Tableau a plus.

  • Design / photography / video / multimedia skills a plus

  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong judgment and decision-making acumen

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Strong ability to problem-solve and think critically

  • Proactive by nature and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Boldness to pitch fresh ideas within the team, think creatively, and identify and solve problems

  • Design / photography / video / multimedia skills a plus

  • Financial Services background / experience a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

  • Exceptional ability to partner across a large, matrixed organization

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and calm in chaos
