KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as business solution owner of the firms MDM ecosystem, including MDM tool, configuration, cleansing & operating processes

  • Participate in building strategy with the Data Management and Integration director and implement the strategy and evolution of the MDM capabilities

  • Assist chair master data working group aimed at helping define data principles and designs (e.g. rules); Define detailed operating process including planning (master, reference data processes)

  • Act as the owner of centralized reference data hierarchies (industry, service lines)

  • Accountable for data quality controls, measurement, and issue resolution

  • Define and prioritize systems integration between MDM and source/target systems (cloud) including liaison with system owners and custodians

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of experience directing Master Data Management programs, including data profiling, sourcing, and quality programs

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, Master's degree is preferred

  • Strong vendor management experience with proven track record of delivering customer-centric master data initiatives to successful steady state

  • Provide strong team leadership

  • Understand data structures, modeling, and complex data relationships, including structured and unstructured data

  • US citizenship required
