Fortress Brand is a rapidly growing authority in hands-on Amazon channel management. What does this mean? It means we work with consumer product companies to exponentially grow their brand presence and sales on Amazon, which represents 40% of all North American e-commerce sales. We do this through a one-stop approach to full marketplace management, leveraging a differentiated method to 3P Management, Technology/Data Analytics, Product Development, Distribution/Logistics, International Management, Legal & MAP Compliance and Marketing.
We work with some of the most innovative brands in the health, beauty, and wellness space. We re looking for an experienced B2B Business Development Professional to join our team and help us grow within that vertical, as well as add new verticals. As a Business Development Professional with Fortress Brand, you ll identify and work with leading brands to understand opportunities to enhance their presence and sales on Amazon and in other online ecosystems. You ll develop solutions that are customized to specific client needs . You ll work with the internal Fortress team to ensure successful onboarding of the new client and transition them to the account management team. The primary goal of this position is to bring in new businesses, with minimal account management related to existing clients. Roles & Responsibilities
Prospecting: Conduct research to identify prospective clients. Develop communication strategy and cadence to reach out to prospective clients. Follow up with leads aggressively.
Consultative Sales: Learn value proposition and leverage in-house presentations and collateral materials. Pitch products and services to prospective clients. With access to senior company resources, assess and recommend custom solution to clients. Position yourself and Fortress Brand as industry experts and advise businesses on relevant trends, best practices, etc.
Sales Targets: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Meet all sales quotas, including prospecting, client meetings, new clients signed, revenue and profitability.
Strategy: Contribute to overall strategy by making recommendations on target markets that should be addressed. Evaluate market size and efficacy of sales process, including messaging to identify opportunities to enhance process.
Teamwork: Be a great internal team player. Work with operations, leadership, onboarding and account management in a way that fosters a productive, yet positive work environment.
At least four years of B2B sales experience, including product demonstrations
A proven track-record of meeting all sales goals
At least two years of experience in consultative sales, including solutioning and service-design
Previous experience selling digital marketing solutions is a plus
Experience in Amazon Marketplace is a plus
Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing solutions
Tech-savvy; ability to sell data/analytics as part of the value proposition
Ability to analyze data to make decisions
Connections in the beauty, health and wellness industries are a plus
