The Technology team at our GSCs service all Lines of Business and Enterprise Technology in helping build and operate innovative industry leading solutions. The breadth of capabilities within the Technology team at the GSC enables it to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.
Roles & Responsibility:
The group is currently seeking a Communications Project Manager (VP level) to drive communications for the Head of Asset Management (AM) Technology and the AM Technology Management team, in support of the world class technology platform the team is building. This position will also work closely with Business Management and the Head of AWM Technology Communications to provide dedicated strategic planning, direction, management and execution of Communications to support the AM Technology transformation. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic area of Financial Services Technology, serving a busy global team with strong business engagement and ambitious plans.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in planning, creating, editing and publishing information for web, print and video. Candidates must be first-class communicators, able to present, inspire and engage with their material at many levels. Candidates will also demonstrate strong creative and idea generation abilities, have a client-service mindset and well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Also important are the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively.
Planning, creation, editing and publication of all internal content relating to our Technology products & services, including the creation of high-quality marketing literature.
Preparation of townhall speeches, internal social media, blogs and video content for the Head of Asset Management Technology.
Production of executive briefing materials for the Technology portfolio.
Liaison with Technology Product Owners and Engineers to clarify ambiguous content, obtain missing content, schedule reviews and gain management approvals of communications
Working with our creative partners on brand development and ensuring ongoing compliance with brand rules and style guides across all communication media.
Management of communication schedules and distribution channels, ensuring the accurate provision of information to colleagues within AM Technology.
This role will also require you to collate, analyze and visually present data for use in presentation of business and technical information.
8-10 years’ experience working in a communications role, with a proven track record in delivery of content from concept through to publication.
First-class communicator, able to present, inspire and engage at many levels.
Strong creative and idea generation abilities.
Excellent writing and editorial skills, preferably with experience in a technical editing role.
Understanding of marketing, branding and visual design fundamentals.
Analytical abilities; able to collate, process and present business and technical data to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills - attention to detail is key.
Ability to take ownership and drive progress in a matrixed organization.
Ability to engage / partner with multiple constituents while driving time-sensitive solutions.
Experience developing with SharePoint.
Strong MS PowerPoint and Word skills.
Experience creating short video content.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
