This position will support the principal?s efforts in servicing existing clients. We are part of the Acrisure family of companies, one of the largest brokerage firms in the world.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between employers, employees and insurance carriers.
Develop a working knowledge of carriers and products
Help clients maximize benefits and minimize their exposures]
Explaining policy provisions
Processing service requests
Advocating for proper claims adjudication
Updating client data files
Each customer service associate is responsible for their own clients but are part of a service team providing mutual support and training.
Interface with our internal sales and service teams in the acquisition and maintenance of business
Research professional sources to assist with technical questions

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
NJ or NYS Life, Accident & Health License, preferred
Minimum of 2 years of group insurance experience with knowledge of benefits administration, industry trends, carrier products and other insurance products, preferred
Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Proficiency in all other Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
Strong analytical skills
Self-motivated and driven
Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
