This position will support the principal?s efforts in servicing existing clients. We are part of the Acrisure family of companies, one of the largest brokerage firms in the world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between employers, employees and insurance carriers.

  • Develop a working knowledge of carriers and products

  • Help clients maximize benefits and minimize their exposures]

  • Explaining policy provisions

  • Processing service requests

  • Advocating for proper claims adjudication

  • Updating client data files

  • Each customer service associate is responsible for their own clients but are part of a service team providing mutual support and training.

  • Interface with our internal sales and service teams in the acquisition and maintenance of business

  • Research professional sources to assist with technical questions

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor?s Degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required

  • NJ or NYS Life, Accident & Health License, preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of group insurance experience with knowledge of benefits administration, industry trends, carrier products and other insurance products, preferred

Technology Skills:

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

  • Proficiency in all other Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
