JPMorgan Chase CWM - Project Manager Senior - NY in New York, New York

As a CWM Business Analyst within the CWM Field Support Team, you will reside in the Advisory Platforms Team and be part of the CWM Branch Systems and Innovation Group that will drive the strategic delivery of enhancing, redesigning or replacing all of the CWM systems and platforms in the next 3-5 years. The CWM advisory team will proactively manage changes to the CWM Advisor Platforms and branch systems, including JPMorgan Connect/MORCOM.

As a Business Analyst you will be accountable for improving the financial advisor and customer experience while ensuring consistency in Branch Systems with accurate implementation of system enhancements and defect fixes.

This position directly impacts CWM Advisor branch systems, financial advisor processes, customer experience, and multiple ancillary lines of business such as AM, DWM, and PB. The Business Analyst will need to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key business and technology partners to ensure system enhancement changes and defect fixes are accurate, complete and do not negatively impact customers, bankers or advisors, Operations or other areas of the bank.

A successful candidate will be able to work independently on several strategic initiatives while focusing on the customer and financial advisor experience, leverage opportunities for improvement as well as propose new procedures and execute flawlessly on a day to day basis the tactical steps required to achieve the long term vision of creating a state of the art CWM technology, advisor, and client service experience.

  • Partner and engage with Technology, Business, Operations and CWM Business Demand Management Team to provide clear, concise and detailed business requirements and other relevant documents.

  • Articulate a summarized problem statement, project ask, business case, risks, end to end impact to Business Demand Management Team proper prioritization

  • Address and resolve issues and risks identified by Business Demand Management team to drive milestones against deadlines and timelines for Business Readiness/UAT.

  • Ensure continuous alignment of approved CWM BOW and Demand Management Pipeline.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the needs of the customer from the business and technical perspective.

  • Identify and recommend process and systems enhancements to improve advisor and customer experience as well as operational processes and procedures.

  • Create, update and contribute to senior management communication materials, i.e. Executive Summaries, PowerPoint Decks and Sharepoint sites which outline key insights and initiative status updates.

  • Collaborate with tech delivery/Application Development and UAT groups to assist in resolving any project/program issues in a timely fashion and identify issues and escalate early in the process to allow adequate time for mitigation/ resolution.

  • Partner with UAT teams to ensure pre-release readiness and post release validation that technical implementation of requirements and business/requestor intent has been met.

  • Act as SME and Information Owner for CWM LOB applications.

  • Continuously support and improve on the existing project management and governance processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3-7 years of equivalent work experience and education desired

  • Highly motivated self –starter with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships

  • Strong Project Management and Leadership Skills with sharp attention to detail

  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills, both written and oral required

  • Strong MS Excel, data management and analytical skills required

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing deliverables effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • Business Analyst experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) or Agile a plus

  • Understanding of JPMorgan Connect/MORCOM as well as knowledge of interfacing policy and procedures desired

  • Experience working with branches or CAO, Annuities, SBL or other CWM products a plus

  • Sound decision making skills with the ability to interact, influence and negotiate across a variety of stakeholders.

  • Results, service and customer-focused mindset with the understanding of how to balance it against a risk, control and highly regulated banking environment, capacity constraints and strategic roadmap dependencies.
