Program Overview:

Dare to Try (DTT) is a global Innovation and Experimentation program aimed at supporting a creative mindset among Pfizer employees - one in which colleagues feel empowered to think like entrepreneurs, challenge conventions and take thoughtful risks to unlock opportunities for growth.

Position Overview:

The Dare to Try team is looking for a Dare to Try Program Manager who is passionate about innovation. The Program Manager must be brave and willing to lead in an ambiguous and fluid environment. The Program Manager will serve as an operational leader for the Dare to Try team. He/She will be responsible for tracking the progress of the implementation of the team’s strategy, managing the program budget and to ensure alignment and coordination of the core team’s efforts.

Role Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day project management oversight for Dare to Try team trainings, DTT strategy, partnerships including our We Work partnership

Manage project timeline and guide the team in achieving all key project deliverables and milestones

Facilitate project team meetings and provide formal agenda and meeting minutes including issues and actions, risks, mitigations and escalations

Track and manage program budget

Responsible for identifying and managing DTT resources

Manage the ‘end to end’ process of Dare to Try training, including: Recruitment analysis, attendee/manager correspondence, meeting/event logistics and post-training support

Responsible for project management and logistics oversight of the EX conference, Pfizer’s annual innovation conference, supporting the EX Conference Lead

Responsible for oversight and management of the semi-annual Dare to Try Awards program - an internal crowdsourcing campaign - specific responsibilities include enterprise-wide communications, liaising with crowdsourcing vendor and oversight of project plan

Responsible for conducting periodic DTT training and workshops across the Pfizer enterprise


Bachelor's degree required

Experience in operations roles, project management, meeting & event planning experience (specifically CMP certification) strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a wide ranging group of constituents, while being able to prioritize and achieve successful outcomes.

Trained as a Dare to Try Champion and preferably some experience in Dare to Try training

Experience with crowdsourcing strongly preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills required

Highly collaborative; strong experience in working on teams

Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate ambiguity (high learning agility), develop a path forward and successfully execute to drive results.
