Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated transformation project manager to lead the transformation of Digital Originations becoming more agile in progress and delivery. This role works closely with the product management team to formalize a communication strategy, education plan, Agile/Lean evangelism, project planning, and program execution. The ideal candidate is an expert in Agile and Lean product management with hands-on experience in creating agile product roadmaps, organizational execution, agile demand management, and streamlining delivery processes.

A successful candidate will be customer-obsessed and passionate about delivering impactful user experiences to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), negotiation skills, and the ability partner and influence the management team to transform the organization to meet the established transformation goals set forth by the Chief Development Office. Experience managing transformation programs for product areas with more than 200 employees and the capability to define a transformation strategy and execute against it. Financial services experience is a plus.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Define a transformation strategy for the product organization to become more agile and execute against it

  • Work with the Chief Development Office to outline and execute an education and hiring plan which supports our targeted goals

  • Agile Practitioner and SME to lead the organization to work in a more efficient manner

  • Identify and create a plan of action to streamline waterfall demand management process

  • Program reporting on Agile Metrics to drive Continuous Improvement

  • Agile Scrum Product Owner Coaching Facilitation

Qualifications

  • 3 + years as an Agile practitioner (SCRUM / Kanban)

  • 5 + years Program Management

  • 3 + years with Lean Product Management

  • 1+ years with Lean Product Delivery

  • Innovative team player with strong analytical problem solving, crisis management and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to deliver patterns and solutions based on industry best practices and architectural requirements.

  • Ability to influence a cross functional team to obtain desired results.

  • Ability to initiate new efforts through requirements gathering and drive the engineering teams to completion.

  • Technical writing and documentation skills. ITIL Framework knowledge highly desired.

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field experience
