Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Consulting, Finance or Strategic/Corporate Planning.
MBA or advanced graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
12 years of experience at a leading consulting or finance firm and/or at a digital media or ad tech company.
Distinctive problem-solving, analytical and project management skills, including experience executing complex strategic and operational sales initiatives.
Excellent communication skills track record of building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing personalities within a complex business environment.
As the Director of Go-to-Market Operations, you will be responsible for managing the Agency GTM team and coordinating the business and operational cadence for this business in the US. In this role, you will partner closely with senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams to execute on opportunities that will accelerate growth and lead on-going improvements in the operations of the business.
You will also create and lead Google’s Americas-wide growth initiatives around various regional and global programs to help foster and grow the agency channel, including partnering with Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) on regional priorities and menu of services and offerings. Oversight includes sales teams directly overseeing agency relationships as well as specialist sales teams, US Multicultural, executive summits, consultancies, and industry relations.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Partner with senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams to develop quarterly and annual business plans.
Pilot and scale business growth opportunities across the business, and continuously improve sales team capabilities and effectiveness.
Concept, design and deliver innovative programs and initiatives for the agency business in the US and globally.
Drive operational improvements, including optimizing resource allocation across sales teams, measuring progress against business goals, and facilitating sales leadership meetings.
Participate in and help steer global initiatives, and ensure that global initiatives are rolled out effectively to the Agency team.
