CIB’s Treasury Services (TS), working in conjunction with the JPM’s Commercial Bank (CB), is undertaking a Global Pricing & Billing initiative that will focus on E2E business transformation. The new Global Pricing & Billing system will be a strategically important and industry-leading platform that will meet evolving client and market trends, as well as provide enhanced business controls. This will serve to re-engineer the Global Pricing & Billing operating model, driving efficiencies and enhanced business results. This will be a complex, multifaceted, multiyear program that will cut across several transformation dimensions – Strategy, Client Experience, People Experience and Operational Excellence – and will deliver increased client satisfaction, cost efficiencies and incremental revenues.
Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
The Global Billing Transformation Executive Director will have primary responsibility for defining, designing and executing all Billing related aspects of the new Global Pricing & Billing system. This position will report directly to the Head of the Global Pricing & Billing transformation program. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work across the TS and CB organizations to drive the design, development and delivery of the new billing platform and capabilities
Work closely with your Global Pricing Transformation Manager counterpart to ensure seamless design and execution of the E2E pricing & billing operating model
Identify automation opportunities and ensure required enhancements are built into overall system design
Provide significant input on the design and delivery of enhanced analytical tools that will leverage data created and managed by the new Pricing & billing system
Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly communication processes with project team members
Assist with conflict resolution and strategic/tactical decision making
Help shape operational and functional execution of departmental strategies and ensure tasks are properly completed
Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree a plus
Financial Services experience, preferably with Treasury Management products and pricing and billing related functions
10+ years of experience running complex projects (Agile methodology experience preferred)
Creative problem solver; experience building and executing innovative and differentiated solutions that deliver against long term business strategies
Highly organized and highly analytical
Proven track record with large, cross-LOB programs
Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; should be comfortable speaking to senior managers and front line employees
High proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
