Twitter Global Product Marketing Manager, Ad Formats in New York, New York

Who you are

We are looking for an experienced and accomplished Product Marketing Manager to join the Global Business Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for shaping our Core Ads strategic direction focused on top and mid-funnel advertising, defining our go-to-market strategy, and identifying new opportunities for growth across multiple segments of advertisers across the world.

A successful candidate has experience working with digital advertising platforms, and knows how to drive advertiser acquisition, retention and education with strategic and creative marketing. She or he must have an understanding of the advertiser experience when buying digital media for brand advertising, what uniquely differentiates Twitter as a product and service, and how Twitter’s advertising products offer unique value in the context of the broader digital advertising market. They will also be flexible and comfortable working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment.

What you’ll do

As the Product Marketing Manager for Twitter’s Core Ads product suite, you will not only define the product marketing message for new advertising solutions, you will also need to be strong in execution of the development of marketing materials, including development of sales collateral, case studies, blog posts, product videos, web page content, event content, and commission first and third-party research to support your key messages.

In this cross-functional role, you’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, PR, and sales solutions specialists to bring Twitter ad products to market. And as part of Twitter’s Global Business Marketing team you will work closely with marketers across the company to scale marketing programs globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop year-long marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption for a portfolio of advertising solutions tied to key advertiser objectives, including defining the value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning

  • Execute a go-to-market strategy for new features based on established goals, and have the ability to measure impact and success of these initiatives

  • Understand and consider competitive landscape and target markets in marketing strategies and messaging

  • Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, sales, and competitive offerings

  • Inform sales enablement strategy, and train local sales teams as needed

  • Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product and sales teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of marketing experience, in B2B / tech environment.

  • Proven experience partnering closely with product management and marketing teams and working in a matrixed organization

  • Experience working closely with product/engineering and sales stakeholders.

  • Outstanding program management with ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking

  • Analytical mind-set and problem solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of online advertising platforms

  • Passion for Twitter

Preferred

  • Knowledge or experience working at or with advertising agencies
