Come be part of the creative team at Facebook that is leading the industry in new ways to build advertising ideas in the rapidly changing media, mobile and marketing world. As an L&D Program Manager, you will be an important member of the Creative Shop team, tasked with the vision and implementation of our global training program. As our team grows rapidly with new people joining around the world, it's critical that we effectively equip the team with resources to do their job through trainings.
We are looking for someone with strong strategic and execution skills, who can roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You are detail-oriented, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn trust and credibility within the Creative Shop and with partners. You possess strong organization and communication skills, hold yourself and others accountable to impact, and operate with poise in high pressure and time-sensitive scenarios.
This position is based in our New York office.
We have 5 key training tracks to implement across the global team: new hires, general team refreshes, managers, developmental opportunities, and external training opportunities. Across these tracks, you will be responsible for the following:
Developing a vision for L&D across each training track
Building a plan for training sessions across offices, including booking rooms, calendaring on peoples' schedules, ensuring video recordings
Managing invites across time zones to strive for full participation in trainings, including over video conference
Envisioning an approach to assess their understanding of training content
Deploying surveys across training sessions to gather feedback on sessions
Purchase books and resources, and coordinate with regional admins, to have physical libraries in our global offices
Roll-out internal trainings across the team
Communicate updates to partners and manage training roll-outs to deadlines
5+ years of experience building L&D programs
Communicator with analytical experience
Experience with Keynote/PowerPoint
Organizational and project management experience
Experience working in and influencing global cross-functional teams
- Experience in social media, software, Internet or digital media industries
