Seeking a knowledgeable embedded software engineer to lead projects and teams in creating and re-purposing conceptual algorithms to execute on standalone, embedded platforms. You will lead within, and contribute to, a creative, dedicated team of developers that is adapting state of the art algorithms to address automation of some of the country's toughest national security problems for the undersea domain, applying advanced signal processing, information processing, and machine learning to transform raw sensor data into actionable information for our warfighters. This team has developed algorithms to process active and passive sonar returns to seek for submarines and has used signal processing and deep learning with imaging sonar to identify sea bottom-mounted mines. Work with engineers, developers, and scientists to generate new algorithm concepts and transition them to real-time algorithms running in operational embedded military systems
