PCE Strategy / Life Sciences Manager

Individual will be responsible for contributing to and managing teams of Associates, Associate Consultants, and Consultants in the design, development, and delivery of medium size consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects by:

General Consulting (25%):

  • Planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives

  • Designing, structuring and delivering client reports and presentations

  • Developing client relationships through face-to-face discussions or workshops, telephone or email contact

  • Identifying opportunities for follow-on work and new leads

  • Supporting the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements

  • Supporting development of proposals

Specific eCOA Consulting Services (75%):

  • Serve as an eCOA Subject Matter Expert (SME) for eCOA Design & Requirements generation for Consulting Services project teams

  • Identify opportunities to expand IQVIA eCOA Consulting offerings related to eCOA Design & Requirements generation

  • Developing templates and training materials to streamline and optimize new project start-up and team-member onboarding

  • Contributing to the execution of multiple eCOA Consulting projects from kick-off through project close

  • Reviewing and interpreting clinical protocols to develop an eCOA design and implementation strategy

  • Facilitating eCOA software design reviews, software requirements reviews, prototype reviews among sponsors, eCOA vendors, and clinical study (CRO) teams

  • Contributing to User Acceptance Testing efforts for eCOA systems, including the creation of UAT Plans, Script, Issue Trackers and Reports; Executing UAT scripts

  • Contributing to the creation of eCOA Monitoring Plans and ongoing Monitoring Reports for eCOA solutions in use for clinical trials

  • Training Associates, Associate Consultants, and Consultants on processes and strategies required for successful implementation of eCOA systems (bullets above)

Essential experience, skills and education required

  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, business and report writing

  • Strong capability in managing workstreams of multiple projects and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high quality outcomes

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals and build remote relationships

  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries

  • Demonstrable experience in and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries

  • Experience working in sizable/ multi-disciplined teams and leading members of the team

  • Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals etc.

  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques

  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills.

Desirable skills experience and knowledge

  • A strong academic track record including MBA or relevant graduate degree and/or 6 or more years relevant experience

  • Prior experience or avid interest in the healthcare and life science industries

  • Some project management experience

  • Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge

  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage

  • A willingness and ability to travel

  • Right to work in the recruiting country
