What will you do?
The primary purpose of the Senior Marketing Program Manager is to convert program requirements into executable deliverables and drive the timely execution of high performing marketing projects for assigned businesses. This role supports strategic planning, drives execution, and positively impacts the quality of marketing qualified leads-leading to a higher conversion rate of sales qualified opportunities.
The Senior Marketing Program Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing Planning and Analytics and helps shape and execute assigned marketing plans while maximizing campaign effectiveness and ROI. This role functions as a liaison between the Business Unit Market Development stakeholders and the Divisional Marketing team to make sure that a clear brief and defined tactical customer journey-incorporating the right channel mix-is developed for each marketing project.
This role plans, prioritizes deadlines, assigns resources and drives speed and agility in the execution of defined plans. The Senior Marketing Program Manager communicates status and results to a variety of roles within the division. Additionally, this role supervises the work of and provides guidance to other marketing program managers within the team.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of the assigned business unit marketing plan
Prioritize and sequence initiatives for greatest effectiveness and alignment to business needs
Align with Business Unit Marketing Partner(s) on marketing plans to build strategic campaigns, projects and tactics within the divisional marketing project management tool
Serve as the lead of an Agile marketing production team focusing on a prioritized backlog of work
Collaborate with Business Unit Marketing Partners and digital marketing experts on the tactical customer journeys and channel mix to optimize the customer experience and marketing campaign effectiveness
Organize all marketing project meetings to align on priorities, status and resourcing constraints
Drive functional best practices as well as innovative thinking through practical process improvement
Collaborate with Business Unit Marketing Partner(s) to ensure project intake process is completed accurately and on time
Lead reporting on production and project status through KPI management
Collaborate with Marketing Analytics Specialists to gather relevant data and support campaign optimization decisions
Partner with the Sales Enablement Specialist to manage and organize digital asset management and sales enablement systems
Display strong time management and organizational skills to drive project timelines and remain within budgetary requirements
Manage a high volume of tactics and prioritize activities to effectively deliver plans on time and budget
Add value to the team by developing an understanding of our business profile and technical capabilities
How will you get there?
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing
Master's Degree preferred
Experience:
7+ years minimum of marketing program management
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize
Strong experience in digital marketing operations
Experience collaborating with and managing creative and digital agencies
Experience within a B2B marketing environment. Scientific instruments industry experience preferred.
