Software / Firmware Developer

Who are we looking for?

Technical Skills:

Experience or understanding of firmware design tools and languages.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.

Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.

Understanding of firmware development tools and infrastructure, including source control (GIT, Subversion, etc.), Application lifecycle management (Jira, TFS, etc.) and code integration in an enterprise development environment.

Expertise of firmware development languages such as C/C++ and C#

Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Familiarity with database theory and web development, including SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, MongoDB, JNode etc

Process Skills:

Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of firmware, including application and driver level code.

Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.

Develops understanding of and relationship with local and worldwide development partners on firmware design and development.

Participates as a member of project team of firmware engineers to develop innovative, reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions enterprise class printing products.

Behavioral Skills:

Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs

Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Certification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Typically 4-6 years’ experience.
