An expanding company has partnered with OfficeTeam to find an Office Assistant interested in gaining experience with a growing firm. We are seeking applicants that are highly-skilled, motivated that are capable of multitasking and handling various projects at once. If you're a self-starter, you might be a great fit for this position! An Office Assistant position has opened up in the New York, New York area. This opportunity is being offered on a short term temporary-to-fulltime basis.

Major responsibilities

  • Submit data in various forms into electronic systems

  • Direct calls appropriately

  • Copy, faxing, and filing for multiple departments

  • Maintain office facility and resources

Requirements

  • Capacity to assess process and internal control weaknesses and identify improvements

  • A willingness to take on both small administrative tasks and high visibility requests

  • Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

  • Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast paced and challenging environment

  • Customer service experience desired

  • Experience with navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Foundational knowledge in meeting coordination and planning

  • Deep understanding of scheduling

  • Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience preferred

  • Succeed independently with tasks
