The Container Store Overnight Merchandise Stocking Associate in New York, New York
Our Manhattan Overnight Merchandise Processing Team works in both our Chelsea and Midtown stores while the stores are closed, working during the hours of 9:45pm to 5am or 10:45pm to 6am, unloading our replenishment trucks and merchandising the product on the shelves, creating a well presented, fully stocked, neat and organized store.
What We Stand For
Established in 1978, The Container Store has grown to be the leading specialty retailer of storage and organization products in the United States and the only national retailer solely devoted to the category. We provide creative, multifunctional, customizable storage and organization solutions that help our customers save time, save space and improve the quality of their lives.
We foster an employee-first culture built around our Foundation Principles, which define how we approach our relationships with our employees, vendors, customers and communities and influence every aspect of our business.
Additional responsibilities include inventory, signage, props, samples, cleaning and every merchandising detail that sets The Container Store apart from other retailers.
We are currently hiring to part-time schedules, with an opportunity for advancement to full-time roles, including benefits, as our team grows.
The Manhattan market receives 7-10 trucks per week, at our two store locations - 58th and Lexington and Sixth Avenue (between 18th and 19th) – and both locations are served by the same overnight team. Overnight Merchandise Processing team members generally work 3-4 nights per week. The expectation will be that employees will need overnight availability plus the availability to work at either store location depending on the needs of the business.
