The Researcher will work directly with Producers and Associate Producers to help research and assist in the production of original content for a live entertainment show.
Duties and responsibilities:
Research interesting people and topics for upcoming live shows.
Prepare and revise multiple drafts of notes.
Collect, organize, and analyze data for multiple tracking systems.
Ability to type quickly and proficiently while participating in daily research meetings.
Editing and condensing clips to prepare for booking presentations.
Fact check and proofread material for shows.
Become trusted source of information for assigned guests.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience working in a research department.
Needs to be proficient in writing and entertainment news.
Needs to have a professional demeanor.
Strong knowledge of various programming genres.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office suite.
Audio Editing knowledge is preferred but not required.
