Advertised Summary Job Description Reporting to the Head of Information Design and Technology, the Salesforce Administrator will maintain the Executive Education CRM system in keeping with the business needs of Executive Education and the standards of Columbia Business School.
Lead CRM development and deployment with a detailed understanding of the Salesforce platform, and the willingness to always make careful, well-considered, long term-oriented changes to the Salesforce platform resulting from either high-level architecture decisions and/or ground-level support requests.
Maintain processes for enhanced sustainability and performance. Uphold workflow rules, create and modify formula fields, approval rules, configuration of single or multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules.
Manage and maintain the application process through Executive Education's CRM tools.
Manage the Salesforce platform to execute through automation and system integration internal and external communications and data sharing.
Design CRM solutions to capture data relevant to Executive Education's goals.
Prepare Key Performance Indicator reports and dashboards with detailed business metrics and analysis with a focus on customer engagement.
Prepare data model reports and maintain documentation of CRM and training new hires and existing staff.
Investigate and recommend solutions to improve CRM integration and adoption.
Works to ensure that the program pages in Salesforce are up to date on all the program related information such as program dates, prices, location, and other.
Liaise with Information Technology Group, Financial Planning Office, Executive Education, and Marketing to implement process and systems for quality, responsive customer service across the Executive Education technology footprint.
Manages day to day technical administration of Salesforce, including user, profile and role management, and database de-duping and cleanup.
Other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required. Minimum 3-5 years related experience required.

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills necessary. Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also on an independent basis. Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and demands. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a strategic, long-term thinker. Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL and Drupal is preferred.
