OVERVIEW:
The Senior Associate acts as a steward of the entire media plan process, from developing the media plan recommendation, implementing, executing plan changes and monitoring media campaign across various IBM Performance Marketing Business Units, This individual works closely with the manager on the direct investment team to ensure media plans ladder up to overall strategic initiatives. The individual serves as the day-to-day point of contact with the integrated planning team and ensures all deliverables are met. The Senior Associate is also responsible for training junior level media personnel
Key Responsibilities/Roles: Sr. Associate, Investment
Onboarding of new strategic partners
Issue RFPs to publishers
Negotiate/review all media pricing
Collaborate with Integrated Planning to ensure plans are on strategy and meet client objectives
Develop strong and effective media plans based on media KPIs
Confidently present to clients and listen/adapt based on feedback
Manage associate’s campaign implementation including trafficking and reconciliation
Manage day-to-day plan changes/maintenance of media plans
Analyze campaigns, and recommend tactical changes to maximize campaign performance
Work with Research and Analytics to collect relevant information on past performance
Develop point of views for relevant partners and opportunities
Act as liaison between agency and publishers
Work with Analytics and Strategic Negotiation teams on client deliverables
Mentor Associates
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising or marketing
1+2+ years of digital investment/planning experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong communication, project management and time management skills
Detail oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
Understanding of 3rd party media tools such as Comscore
Advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
Strong understanding of interactive media tools; Prisma and Sizmek
Knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media, including Search, SEO, SEM, Mobile etc.
