JPMorgan Chase Software Engineering (Backend Core Java/Spring Boot Developer) in New York, New York

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of combined software application development experience
Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Strong experience in Core Java, Spring frameworks (Spring boot and Spring cloud), RESTAPI, cloud, micro services, Hibernate, MVC
Experience with modern SDLC, DevOps mentality and TDD approaches. Hands-on experience in automating builds, deploys, monitoring and alerting
Experience or familiarity with Jenkins, Splunk, Dynatrace etc. or any other tools/technologies of similar function
Experience with the following development and build tools (or similar): IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, BitBucket/Git/Gitflow, JMeter/Blazemeter, API Gateway
Experience with asynchronous messaging, Kafka or similar systems
Experience with NoSQL DB. Preferably Cassandra
Familiarity with class design patterns
