This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• 2-3 years of combined software application development experience

• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

• Passionate about building an innovative culture

• Strong experience in Core Java, Spring frameworks (Spring boot and Spring cloud), RESTAPI, cloud, micro services, Hibernate, MVC

• Experience with modern SDLC, DevOps mentality and TDD approaches. Hands-on experience in automating builds, deploys, monitoring and alerting

• Experience or familiarity with Jenkins, Splunk, Dynatrace etc. or any other tools/technologies of similar function

• Experience with the following development and build tools (or similar): IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, BitBucket/Git/Gitflow, JMeter/Blazemeter, API Gateway

• Experience with asynchronous messaging, Kafka or similar systems

• Experience with NoSQL DB. Preferably Cassandra

• Familiarity with class design patterns
