Global Incentives Manager

Job Duties

  • Influence sales leadership by providing sales compensation insights and best practices to drive achievement of our business goals.

  • Provide recommendations on plan design based upon desired outcomes and analytics.

  • Monitor plan effectiveness and communicate this feedback to sales leadership and executives on a regular basis.

  • Design and automate compensation administration processes and quality control.

  • Ensure that by administering all compensation plans, payouts are calculated with 100% accuracy.

  • Perform analysis of commission earning to ensure proper accruals and performance to assumptions in design.

  • Develop and communicate monthly and quarterly presentation materials for incentive plans to sales management and executives.

  • Manage items that are raised by commission team and plan participants and build a global center of excellence for associate inquiries.

  • Stay up-to-date on trends and developments within sales compensation and recognition practices, constantly researching and recommending best practices as appropriate. • Drive consistent and new ways of reporting and analytics.

  • Effectively lead and positively influence the global sales compensation team

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.

  • Excellent presentation skills – present analysis/findings in a compelling manner.

  • Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate effectively with business partners.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels in the organization.

  • Proficient in project management.

  • Ability to compile and analyze data.

  • Deep domain expertise and knowledge of Xactly.

Experience, Educational Requirements and Certifications

  • BA/BS degree, MBA preferred • 10+ years of sales compensation experience, incentive plans, incentive analysis • 4+ years experience with Xactly, SalesForce, NetSuite • 5+ years leadership experience
