Are you interested in joining an exciting new team in AWS Professional Services that is focused on helping Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) achieve long-term success with AWS business, operational and technology innovations? The ISV Incubation Practice is committed to leading the mission of guiding the transformation, modernization and optimization of ISVs and their platforms by bringing to bear our technical expertise, product development experience, business thought leadership, cloud operational excellence, and differentiating AWS products. This practice is responsible for creating and taking to market ProServe offerings that demonstrate value across the lifecycle of the ISV's cloud transformation journey from business case through value realization based on product to service modernization, innovation agility, channel growth, market expansion, upward revenue growth, and cost savings.

AWS Professional Services (ProServe) consultants help Customers, Partners and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) achieve breakthrough business results by leveraging the AWS platform. They collaborate with customers and partners to address security and compliance, performance and scale, availability and manageability, and agility and innovation. They enable customers to migrate and modernize existing systems and build new systems using the full range of AWS services.

We're hiring a Sr. Program and Product Manager who will lead the definition and development of ProServe offerings that are aligned with key AWS ISV strategic initiatives: 1/Accelerating ISV Migrations, 2/Assisting with Modernization, 3/Joint Product Development and Co-Innovation, 4/Expanding Workload Usage, and 5/Expanding Joint GTM. These ProServe offerings should create differentiated value relevant to the ISVs' use cases and are repeatable and scalable across the segment. The design of the offerings will be informed by ISVs and their customers and AWS sales, delivery and services teams.

The Sr. Program/Product Manager will then leverage their ISV strategy and product development experience, their knowledge of cloud platforms, and these ISV packaged offerings, and collaborate with our sales, partner and ProServe teams to propose, architect, and support the implementation of transformational solutions for our ISVs. Helping make customer success a reality using AWS cloud as an enabler and seeing the impact in real-time drives our teams to explore new frontiers in leveraging AWS for our customers. The role is also responsible for partnering with teams across Professional Services to dive deep into an ISV's business challenge, to collaboratively propose a set of outcomes that would result from a formal Professional Services engagements. Thereafter, the role remains engaged with the customer, Amazon team and project/program to ensure high-value, successful delivery.

This is a hybrid product development, selling and consultant role. This individual brings a unique balance of cloud platform expertise with hands-on delivery, ISV product management and service development experience, strategic thinking, cross-industry business acumen, executive presence, including a heavy dose of passion for continued knowledge acquisition and growth, obsession for customers, and their success using AWS.

* Lead the strategy, definition and development of ProServe ISV offerings by partnering with account, professional services and AWS service teams to integrate and tailor existing AWS services and offerings and create new ones
* Support Sales and ProServe delivery teams in ISV pre-sales activities, architecture sessions, proposal development, solution design and implementations, leveraging the ISV offerings
* Collaborate with ISVs by defining or inventing cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases, including modernizing to become a SaaS provider
* Participate in architectural and design sessions, and business process and operational discussions to create world-class products and services built on AWS
* Partner with account and professional services go-to-market teams to ensure successful delivery of ProServe ISV offerings across engagements
* Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS
* Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts
* Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals, architects and executive leadership within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge, sales and delivery content among the AWS Professional Services community
* This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.Basic Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience helping ISVs modernize their products on the cloud and transform their business and operations.
* 5+ years of product strategy, product management, product development experience or equivalent
* 7+ years of experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
* 7+ years of architecture/design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications, infrastructure, database and networking
* 7+ years of experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
* Ability to work in a diverse team
