The CIG is seeking an Analyst to assist its Structured Products team. You should have strong analytical skills, be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, have strong reading and writing skills, and can articulate himself or herself in an efficient manner. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a real passion for learning are also very important. The Analyst need not have any background or knowledge in structured products. Having a computer science background or proficiency with Intex is a plus.

• Structured Products Investing:

o Craft and present investment memos for primary CLO issuance.

o Create, monitor, and update an approved CLO manager list.o Track dealer offering sheets and BWICs for suitable investments and generate real‐time.o Market color for relative value trading opportunities.

o Read and interpret documentation nuances in offering memorandums and indentures.

o Maintain detailed database of existing and prospective investments.

• Investment Surveillance:

o Monitor performance of existing investments by reviewing trustee reports, trading activity, and manager activity.

o Create watch lists based on various metrics.

o Assist with portfolio marks by analyzing different scenarios using Intex.

• Marketing:

o Facilitate pitching of structured products capabilities by crafting, maintaining, and updating marketing materials for CLO Opportunities Fund, Separately Managed Accounts, etc.

o Help product specialists, salespeople, and PMs further develop the pitch in order to grow structured products AuM.

o Assist in the launch and fundraising of the CLO Opportunities Fund.

• Surveillance of CSAM’s CLOs:

o Support existing Structured Products team in monitoring existing CSAM CLOs with respect to concentration limitations, cushions, collateral quality tests, etc.

o Review monthly trustee reports, quarterly waterfall reports, and quarterly investor letters.

o Assist with investor requests for due diligence questionnaires and data requests.

o Assist with ad‐hoc requests, e.g. call analysis on deals, refinancing analysis, hypothetical trades, cashflow modeling of deals for budgeting, etc.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leveraged finance.

• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to respond cogently to DDQ, Questionnaires, and Investor Queries, as well as write market commentary

• Strong organizational skills

• Proficiency in maintaining and analyzing large data sets
